About Cristina
I’m here because dogs fascinate me and teach me every day.
I feel lucky and thankful to all the dogs I have met and worked with. They help me grow, they help me learn, they help me to be better.
I want to offer dogs the very best — to help them be happy and feel good.
The story
I was once in the same place you are now.
My path began with Yuki — my wonderful Japanese Akita. He didn’t like other dogs getting too close to him, and I had to learn to manage that first, and then teach him. Recall wasn’t his strongest suit either. But we ended up with a beautiful recall that allowed us to run through the Swiss Alps and walk off-leash where permitted.
Everything I learned alongside him — about his cognition, his emotions, his way of communicating — changed the way I understand dogs. I was fascinated then, and I am still fascinated today.
I have a B.A. in Communication Sciences from Endicott College in Boston. I worked in communication and advertising, but for many years now have been fortunate enough to dedicate myself entirely to dogs: their cognition, their communication, and their emotional lives.
I’ve trained professionally for over 11 years in Switzerland, and continue to learn nationally and internationally — because staying current is not optional. It’s essential.
The dogs who shaped everything
Yuki
Our unconditional friend. With him, I began training professionally — to dedicate myself to dogs, their cognition, and their emotional management. The path alongside him was incredible. He came to change everything.
What he loved: skiing with us, trail running, walking through Geneva and Marbella, riding the tram — and buttered bread.
Kiwi
Sensitive, affectionate, funny. She is my tireless teacher. We go everywhere together. Calm and tranquility are our key points — and as a good shepherd, she is always attentive and willing. She is pure heart, brain, life, and joy.
What she loves: kisses, running, swimming, solving problems, rolling over — and popcorn.

The approach
What you’ll get working with me.
Your dog feels better, behaves better — because the emotional state changes first, not the behaviour.
You learn to correctly read, handle, and guide your dog through different situations and emotional states.
Specific, effective, and fun exercises with proven, long-lasting results.
No rigid approaches, no generic tips, no forcing. Understanding first, always.
